About ResinBench
ResinBench is an independent resource for resin and epoxy crafters who want honest, specification-grounded advice on the equipment that actually matters: pressure pots, vacuum chambers, UV and heat curing stations, mixing and dosing tools, and silicone molds.
Our Mission
We believe good equipment decisions start with real data, not vague superlatives. Every review on ResinBench includes verified specifications — PSI ratings, vacuum depth in cmHg, working and cure and demold times, UV wattage, mold cavity volume — along with project-outcome guidance and a troubleshooting section that addresses real failure modes like amine blush, sticky uncured resin, yellowing, and demold failures.
How We Test and Research
Our editorial process combines hands-on testing with systematic research. For each product category we:
- Gather manufacturer specifications directly from product listings, data sheets, and brand documentation. We flag where specs are incomplete or unverified.
- Analyze buyer feedback at scale — reading and categorizing hundreds of verified purchase reviews to identify consistent strengths, failure patterns, and edge cases.
- Apply use-case framing — we test or evaluate each product against the specific project types our readers actually work on: river tables, jewelry, deep-pour castings, tumblers, coasters, and decorative molds.
- Document troubleshooting outcomes — we research and consolidate solutions for common problems and note which equipment choices reduce the risk of each failure mode.
Where we have not personally tested a product, we say so. Ratings reflect the totality of our research, not personal preference alone.
Editorial Independence
ResinBench earns revenue through affiliate commissions (see our Affiliate Disclosure). Brands do not pay for reviews, influence ratings, or have advance editorial approval. Our rankings reflect our honest assessment of equipment quality, value, and fit-for-purpose.
If a product we review is later found to have changed quality, we update the review and note the date of revision.
